The Approach

What is Walk and Talk Therapy

My aim as a Person-Centred Counsellor, is to walk with you, both physically, and mentally, as we work through your difficulties together. Being outdoors releases endorphins, serotonin, and oxytocin, which helps boost the connection between your body and mind, increasing well-being, making walk and talk therapy a great alternative to traditional counselling room settings.

I couldn’t think of more of a privilege, than to join your path, and embark on a journey with you.

Best foot forward

The first step of contemplating Counselling therapy can be daunting for some. Reaching this point of making the choice to even consider it, is already putting your best foot forward (and usually the hardest part)!

The Locations

Where will my feet take me

There are so many beautiful and green locations within Trafford (I can sometimes accommodate some locations outside of Trafford too). I am thrilled to offer walk and talk therapy among some beautiful spots, which are home to fascinating wildlife, beautiful plants and trees, and intriguing gardens.

I will walk alongside you and begin our journey, at your pace. Being held by nature, and being invited by its surroundings of smells, sights, colours and sounds, can be really effective in allowing you to gather your thoughts. There are benches along the way, where we can sit, pause, reflect, or continue to chat if you wish.
